After a pretty solid breakfast we wandered down to the harbour to catch the ferry to Bygdov Island and its many museums !
Our first stop was the excellent Flam museum detailing a number of Artic and Antartic expeditions including the famous Polar adventurer Roald Amundsen.
H reckons that while he might have fancied the "all meals paid" bit of being an expedition crew member he just might have had a problem or two with temperature conditions getting down to -80 c !
Having conquered the Artic and Antarctic we wandered across to the equally interesting Kon Tiki museum a testament to Thor Heyerdahl's drive to prove the settlement of of various Pacific areas by settlers from Sth America.
Thor proved not only a visionary but an amazing adventurer having did what he despite having a fear of water !
With one more museum on the mainland (the armed forces museum) it was time to head back for our delightful supermarket dinner and get ready for our big cycle tomorrow.

Can you get the Ashes score in Norway. If not let me know and i'll have great pleasure in telling you. Pommie Kev
